About

From a young age, Pooja discovered she was very good at solving jigsaw puzzles, finding satisfaction fitting each piece into its precise place. This, coupled with a vivid imagination and a knack for noticing tiny details, naturally evolved into a visual storytelling talent. She loves weaving unconnected clips into something both engaging and compelling.

Graduating as a self-designed Film & Television Production major, a degree she pioneered at The College of New Jersey, Pooja is now a seasoned video editor. Her work includes documentaries, highlights, socials, and narrative content, working with brands such as Cadillac, Lyft, NatGeo, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Vice Media.

Away from her screen, Pooja can be found experimenting in the kitchen, crafting other art projects, out in nature, enjoying time with her family, or lost in a book.

Artist Statement

Most of my life I have felt disconnected – being raised in an Indian household in America, as the second born and youngest child, not quite fitting into social cliques at school. Even my initial career choice in medicine felt off. Then in a plot twist my parents never saw coming, a film class forever changed my trajectory.

Just as how a finished video feels like a completed puzzle, video editing has finally made me feel whole. In the world of visual storytelling lies both my passion and my purpose. My artistic path started through curiosity and observation, and continues forward through a love of learning and a fascination with the narrative power of visual media.

I believe every frame is a canvas, each piece of content a story waiting to be told. My goal is not only to create, but to communicate—using a meticulous attention to detail to craft engaging narratives that challenge, inspire, and transform. This curated selection of my work is a reflection of my journey and my story as it continues to unfold. I invite you to see the world through my lens.
